National Natural Park Tuparro, with 548 thousand hectares, area that accredits him as the nation's largest after that of Chiribiquete.
The highlight of the park is flat and corresponds to the flat high plains, with a height above sea level 90 meters along the Orinoco and 150 in the cap. It has about 2,700 millimeters of precipitation and temperatures between 20 º C and 30 º C in winter and 30 º C and 40 º C in summer. According to its location it is natural flood plains and not flooded gallery forests and transitional forests.
